Hey did you see my latest video on how to make Sourdough English Muffins. Once you realise how easy these are to make you will never buy shop ones again!

https://youtu.be/OJVbY1CSpmI

SOURDOUGH ENGLISH MUFFINS

- 100g Starter
- 120g Warm Water
- 30g Melted Butter
- 120g Warm Milk
- 20g Sugar
- 380g Bakers Flour
- 5g Salt
- Corn Meal to dip

- In a large bowl mix together all of the ingredients (minus the corn meal).

- Set aside to rest for 30 minutes then do 3 sets of stretch and folds 30 minutes apart.

- Once the stretch and folds are done let the dough rest in a warm spot for 1 to 3 hours or until the dough is puffy then transfer to the fridge for 2 to 12 hours ( this can be left in the fridge overnight).

- Remove from fridge then flatten the dough and cut circles out with a scone cutter.

- Dip the bottom of the English muffins in the corn meal and rest on a tray in a warm place for 1 hour.

- Cook the english muffins on a hot skillet 5 minutes per side.

- Enjoy with butter and a cup of tea.
