Well you guys seem to be loving the true crime content but sadly youtube is still suppressing the channel so most of you haven't even seen the two latest videos. Even though it's some of the most fun I've had making content in a long time, I might have to just go back and make more mainstream stuff the algorithm prefers to get us back in action. It's sad that this is the way the platform works but it is what it is I guess.
EDIT: I'll still make true crime content. I just need to figure out if I should continue making it here on my main channel or just try it out from scratch on my 2nd channel @recapped8797 I'll update you guys regardless but go sub there if you haven't already just in case ✌

Alright guys so we have good news and bad news. The good news is I uploaded a video yesterday and those of you that did get the notification or see it in your sub box seemed to really like it! Thank you guys for all the nice comments :)
The bad news is that YouTube heavily suppressed the video everywhere else even though it's fully monetized and has no viewing restrictions. The reason I know it's being suppressed is because 98% of the views are coming from people already subbed and less than 2% from people not subbed. Usually the amount of non-subbed people watching is anywhere from 40%-60%... not 2% wtf. So you can see why I'm pretty sure this video isn't being shown to people. Maybe it's because I took a break again I'm being punished... idk. But at least I can make more videos and do better in the future.
This is, however, one of the hardships of being a YouTuber and why I do take breaks sometimes and do other things. It's not worth putting in so much effort into creating something, being very careful to make sure it doesn't get demonetized, and for it in the end to just get suppressed and they don't even tell you. I really feel bad for the creators who don't' know how to use the analytical tools and figure out that they might not necessarily be a bad creator, but YouTube might have just funked them over again.
