I’m truly humbled to announce my appointment as a culinary Ambassador for the GREAT Campaign for Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
It’s an honour to be bestowed such a role that focuses on helping people around the world with the best of British innovation, talent & education.
The opportunity to give back and support people around the world is something I once could have only dreamed of doing on behalf of the nation that I attribute my personal success to and am grateful for.
Reflecting on my journey so far, arriving in London way back in 1993 with nothing more than £7 and a burning desire to succeed, the UK presented an excellent, diverse and innovative platform to showcase my culinary approach. At its core, the GREAT campaign promotes Britain as a dynamic, outward-looking, confident and collaborative – bringing unconventional thinking to the global challenges we face. I am indeed very proud to be a part of this spirit and showcase some of the wonderful food and produce along the way of Great Britain.
