"Siberia is part of Russian Federation, our dance region is 3100 km wide from Tyumen upto Irkutsk, there are 10 cities with 12 schools here.
My own school based in Kemerovo is one of the eldest in Russia, we started to dance irish 2003 and even participated in first ever official russian feis in 2007 in Moscow, now we have 5 branches in other cities, 6 certified teachers two of them started judge carrier already
Like the rest of the country we started with dance shows on VHS, including Riverdance. So Michael Flatley and Jean Butler were our imagination too. Jean's warm-up and exercises workshop was great to develop irish dance techniques, and as i know, Michael and Mary did workshop in Moscow after one of the shows.
Our dance community here started to progress much more quickly in 2009 when World Irish Dance Association came here and we had first official feis in Novosibirsk. From 2014 we have our own Siberian Championships here with qualification to World Championship. This gives a great opportunity to compete on such level for more dancers without need to travel around the world for extra qualification for it.
When I've started to compete in Championships, i had to travel to other countries to have qualification for Worlds. It wasn't easy, but it helped to enlarge the list of countries where our dancers has competed:
Ireland
Great Britain
Germany
Netherland
Austria
Italy
and even USA (where i was on World Championship 2013)
Now i am former 4-times World Champion (WIDA) and am looking forward, when Europe and other world will be not so closed and difficult to visit as now, so our dancers may visit all the competitions and events around the world like i myself did in my time"

Познакомимся, сделаем разминку, выучим часть из самого простого танца, наши ученики покажут сложные и базовые танцы, изучим групповой танец-кейли, ответим на ваши вопросы.
