I am stoked to announce that this September (7th - 10th), I am doing an Ableton Live training event right here in my hometown of Asheville North Carolina. If you are interested in learning how to create and perform computer assisted music of any genre, and meet / learn from me in person, you canāt miss this! There will be daily beginner and advanced masterclasses on topics such as live looping, mixing / mastering, sound design, creating a career around music and so much more. In the evening, all students are in one giant room with all their gear set up for group feedback on their mixes, collaborations, and 1 on 1 time with me and the other teachers. Then at the end of the weekend there will be a public show at the venue where you can perform your creations for a live audience and get your pics taken for your socials. I just want to say that Youtube's decision to remove dislikes from videos is a monumentally stupid move. The only way to gauge whether or not what you are about to watch is going to be useful is the likes to dislikes ratio. This is a giant slap to the face for creators who have put thousands of hours into creating well paced, clear, and concise tutorial content. This is also a slap in the face for every user on youtube's only real ability to call out dangerous misinformation. Sorry to vent but this is a complete outrage.
