SAFEisFAST is a free online driver development program for young and aspiring drivers, created by The Road Racing Drivers Club (RRDC). The website features video tutorials and advice from world champion drivers on topics such as racecraft, fitness, safety, career management and more.
SAFE stands for Skilled, Assured, Fit, Empowered, the qualities a young driver must acquire and hone if they want to be successful in motor sport. It also helps to be safe and controlled on the track.
The RRDC is a US organization made up of many of the world’s finest racing drivers. Members are elected by their peers and include Formula One World Champions, Indy-500 winners, champion Sports Car Drivers, and top American amateur road racers.
