Kelly (Robert Sylveste R. Kelly at marital status) was born on January 8, 1967 in the southern suburbs of Chicago. Raised by his mother, the young Robert turns out to be very gifted at the piano. At 23, he was spotted on a radio show, Big Break, which awarded him a prize for the best young talents of the moment.
