I've been holding off something, and I guess it's about time I let everyone in on what's happening.
My sweet Ocean passed away a few months ago (May 12th, to be exact). I have been relatively inactive on my page, and this was the main reason why. I struggled making sense of the whole situation, and truthfully, I still don't know what happened. One day, she was fine, and the next day, I found her at the cage bottom with Sky. Sky and Ocean had a very sweet and unique bond. It's just overall a very sad situation.
I'm very quick to know when stuff goes wrong with my birds. Even if there's slight changes in their routine, I take them to their vets for an evaluation. I genuinely don't know what went wrong this time. She didn't show any symptoms of being unwell. I don't know if it was because of her diet playing a role. She was on an all-seed diet when I got her, but I slowly transitioned her to a pellet diet. She would only eat her veggies if it was mixed with her seeds. It's was a slow journey for her, but she was doing better than Sky in her diet.
It's been a few months, and i' still very sad about it. I wish I could've done more for her.

I know I have not posted in ages... I am sad to inform you that Basil has passed due to her gastric yeast. I know I updated only my fans on Instagram but, if you don't know, she passed. She was on medication for it but unfortunately, it didn't help. You can watch out full explanation on instagram and hopefully I will get her farewell video up soon for you guys.

I started my Instagram page in Nov 19, 2014 and shared daily pictures of my birds. I also talk about beneficial topics and DIYβs. A few years later, I started this YouTube Channel. I post videos of my birds and also topics that people might find interesting.
I wanted to create something where everyone can turn their heads too. I'm here to share my experience with other budgie/cockatiel owners and I aim to make your experience with budgies & cockatiels the best it can be.
