Two of my core philosophies I live by⦠things I chose to call ātruthā because they serve me and those around meā¦
Remain in a state of gratitude for who/what is in your life and more goodness will flow to you. If you arenāt grateful on a regular basis for what you have then why should you receive anymore? You donāt give a kid two scoops of ice cream if he canāt even handle the one.
Be generous with what you have received as you recognize that everything is a gift, Iām not entitled to anything no matter how much I think Iāve earned it⦠as you give so too shall you receive or as you have received so too shall you give.
When I remain in alignment with those principles, itās hard to shake me. When I forget them, I lose my footing.
And the secret sauce is to have faith. Faith that everything will work out for the good, whether youāre able to recognize it or not. Be humble to realize that you donāt have an omniscient perspective to know what is the greater good. Some people think they arenāt religious but fail to realize we all worship something⦠some worship God, some worship money, some worship beauty, some worship their careers, some worship social media.. but everyone recognizes the consciousness that exists within all of us or else the body wouldnāt function. The answer to the question āWho am I?ā Followed by āWho is asking the question?ā. Itās the only thing that is unchanging and therefore the only thing that is real. Everything else is just material and will immaterialize with time. Your body is literally (on a celular level) a different body every 7 years. So to recognize the spirit within and place that of higher importance than the things of the world. Thatās how you can really enjoy life⦠enjoying all the nice and fun things but never overvaluing them. Thatās how you never āloseā anything. When you canāt lose anything you radically reduce the amount of suffering in your life.
Stefan and I are getting excited to move into our ādream homeā⦠we love having a beautiful space, we appreciate art, we like fun toys like boats and jet skis and all the tech gadgets and we work to have the money to afford them but they key is to never delude ourselves to thinking that in those things we will find happiness. When you place your happiness and value in the hands of the material world youāll never be satisfied, thereās an unending list of things things youāll need to acquire, of money youāll need to earn, of success youāll need to accomplish⦠this is the hamster wheel and all it takes is to recognize it and then continue living in the world but not of it.
You gotta recognize the game youāre in⦠then you start playing it.

Becoming financially free through building an online business was one of the greatest decisions of my life⦠it afforded me the luxury to live wherever I want in the world and live a lifestyle I used to dream about. I donāt say this to brag, I say this to emphasize the importance of one single decision and the value of living in the internet age⦠take advantage of it! Yes, youāll have to learn new skills and be willing to adapt⦠but unfortunately if you donāt then you will get left behind as robots start replacing humans. So if youāre going to spend time working on an income-producing skill, do something online as it will pay dividends in your future. Photo taken in Panama, our house is going to be ready in December!

I feel like God took a look at my life and realized how much heās blessed me⦠then decided I needed more adversity.
So he started off with a challenging labor to humble me so that I remember whoās really in charge. He then blessed me with a beautiful boy who is also highly sensitive, I call him my barnacle baby because heās attached to me like a barnacle is to the back of a humpback whale⦠having a baby that canāt be put down has taught me about priorities and Iāve had to let go of my work because it doesnāt make the top 3 on the list.
He then took a look at some of Stefan and Iās relationship videos on YouTube and laughed at how we said we never argued and just got along swell for 8 years so he sprinkled in some relationship challenges because he knew that if we could get through them weād be way more impactful on the other end of it.
I wonāt go on⦠but point being, Iāve been quite silent because life has not been easy and by no means is it horrible (thereās always someone who has it better or worse by comparison), itās just been challenging for me and I think thatās just the reality for a lot of new parents despite what they want to tell you. The way through this time for me, is to look to the future and have a vision (Stef and I have talked about this a LOT in the past).
I must thank God for all these challenges because He gave them to me along with the capacity to overcome them and grow into the woman Iām capable of being. So I visualize how through it all, Iām becoming even more loving, more empathetic, more knowledgeable, more companionate, more forgiving, stronger and more resilient. So I welcome the challenge and I thank God for the opportunity. Iām sure itās only just begun. BUT the amazing thing about motherhood is that in spite of its challenges, I wouldnāt hesitate to tell you that Lucas is the greatest blessing in my life. Sometimes I just cry while I hold him in my arms as I rock him to sleep because heās just so precious and Iām so grateful that God entrusted me with this little being. Just look at that smile š„²

Get clear on what you want for your life, then work your booty off to get it. Clarity is power! With clarity you now have direction. You might have to try a number of different things before you create success, but you keep at it until you discover what works, then itās just about pushing down on the accelerator.
Just purchased a cabin on the mountain, so grateful to cross this off the vision board. I canāt wait to watch Lucas have his first Skii lesson and take Kobe on beautiful hikes in nature. š²
