This resolution honors the world-renowned spiritual master, Pujya Guruma Aathmanandamayi, for her tireless efforts in disseminating Sushumna Kriya Yoga Meditation, a profound practice aimed at easing the suffering of humankind. This sacred path to well-being and enlightenment, first delineated by Sri Bhoga Siddhar, has been faithfully upheld by Pujya Guruma, following the immortalized tenets of Kriya Yoga as taught by the Himalayan Yogi Sri Mahavatar Babaji.
The Legislature further commended Pujya Guruma Aathmanandamayi for her invaluable contributions toward promoting universal welfare, peace, love, harmony, and holistic health.
An authenticated copy of this resolution, signed by the Senate President and the Assembly Speaker and attested by the Senate Secretary, was formally presented to Pujya Guruma Aathmanandamayi and the Divya Babaji Kriya Yoga Foundation.
The Proclamation was read aloud and presented by the Mayor of Edison, Mr. Sam Joshi, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Varun Jeph, Deputy Consulate General of India, New York; Mr. Dilip Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner for the NYC Mayor’s Office for International Affairs; Dr. Upendra Chivukula, Commissioner of the NJ Board of Public Utilities; and Padmashri Dr. Nori Dattatreyya, a world-renowned oncologist and Professor at The New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
