I've officially passed the 500 subscribers mark (and it only took just over a year). The 1st anniversary for the channel; when I posted my first video on this channel was February 5th (which I forgot). I will be making a video to commemorate those achievements but also to give an update on what VR means to me now and how I view the Quest 2, after owning it for a little over a year.

My Quest 2 is not working and I don't know what to do. Just finished recording a video, turned off the headset to charge it but as soon as I turned it on a screen popped up saying ShellEnv stopped working and then the headset restarted on it's own. It's now stuck on this restart loop. I've down a hard restart, and a reboot but the problem hasn't been fixed. I'm hoping to fix it without a factory reset as I don't want to lose the 2 hours of recordings I have saved. Has anyone encountered this problem before and if so what was the fix?

So I was going to record a full roomscale walking video of the sidequest home environment 'P.T. Hallway'. It seems as if the environment is interactive, like a game, with what seemed like "triggered" events. I say seemed because I don't know for sure as it scared the crap out of me to the point I took off the headset in a panic and changed the home environment. Should I make this video? Would you be entertained by such a video?

I recently turned 40 years old (Fall of 2022) and not so coincidentally purchased a Quest 2 Virtual Reality Headset. I have never tried VR before this purchase. I have played video games since my first introduction to the original NES and worked my up to Xbox 360 where I stopped playing video games because of "adult responsibilities". I've always wanted to try VR but kept putting it off for various reasons. Now that I am 40 I've decided to do something selfish and indulge in video games once again but this time as a completely new experience with Virtual Reality. If you would like to join me on this new journey I welcome you. I will post introduction/overview videos of various games and apps available on the Quest 2 as well as make full game walkthroughs. If you have any requests please feel free to comment and leave any recommendations. All new experiences are from the perspective of a 40 old man who is new to VR, which may be entertaining to watch. I leave that for you to decide.
