So I just started Yarichin Bitch Club. And BRO, I can barely take this show seriously on its own. LET ALONE when Yuri is on screen. WHY IS HE LIKE THIS?? HE'S LIKE A BOTTOM HISOKA BUT WORSE😭😭😭 I HAD TO CENSOR THE FIRST PIC.

Hey, so I wanna talk about the art style change here. It's huge. There are a lot fewer shadows in Boruto; it's darker, duller, and less consistent, and the hair, for example, is more seemingly scribbled quickly (probably isn't that how it looks) in Naruto. I like the style of both. I think the Boruto art style is underrated. The reasons it was changed are because it looks better and more modern for the new generation, and continuity is better or less noticeable, like with the headbands..in Naruto, they're always really random. In Boruto, the size is more consistent. But I think Og Naruto looks bad in Boruto style, and Boruto looks so bad in Og Naruto style. The biggest reason is the style changed to reflect how Boruto was living in the 21st century and Naruto is not. It looks more modern, less dark, and softer because they're in peace currently, and the less amount of detail reflects that it's more of a slice of life than before. But random detail usually comes when the show gets serious, yet it remains bright. I also think the more choppy and goofier animation reflects it is meant to be sillier and less serious now.
But that's just all my opinion and what I think the reason for the art style change is. But Kishimoto is a dumb man and might not have thought that far into it and just changed it bc he likes it better. I love both to be honest.
