The Nordic Yoga Institute offers Yoga Alliance-registered Teacher Trainings (200 & 500 hours) in Virya Yoga and Rehab Yoga. The trainings are offered in several locations such as in Scandinavia in Sweden and Norway, and also in Spain and India.
Virya yoga is a dynamic form of yoga which focuses on biomechanics. In systematically composed yoga series you will discover in each and every class a tough, fun way to practice yoga that nourishes your mind with positive and philosophical themes.
âViryaâ, in Sanskrit, means âenthusiasmâ, âenergyâ, or âpowerâ, and the aim of Virya yoga is that it will empower and energize you. Enthusiasm comes with the delightful playfulness that will hopefully inspire you to explore the landscapes of your body and mind.
