I resonated strongly with this quote from ‪@linkingyourthinking‬

You definitely won't be able to sustain your personal knowledge management system if it becomes too laborious to maintain.

A lot of people have asked if I'm ditching Logseq since releasing some Tana videos.

The answer is definitely not. You don't need to choose one tool for your 'second brain'

The more I write, the more I realize how building a "perfect zettelkasten" can actually be a distraction.

A simple system using consistent inputs for block meta-data and tags will do wonders for you.

It's difficult to conceptualize some of the benefits for people who haven't tried building a personal knowledge management system for themselves.

Yes, improved productivity and enhanced learning are great. But what are some of the more practical benefits? The things which make your day just that much easier?

What are some of the benefits that you've experienced?

Why build a personal knowledge management system?

For me, it comes down to finding a sense of ease as I navigate different areas in my life.

Everything has its place.

Check out www.logseqmastery.com or www.unlocktana.com for detailed information on how to build systems that work for you.

Reached a big milestone this week: 10,000 subscribers on YouTube!

Super grateful to everyone who pushed the button without being prompted 🙏🏼

I haven't done the livestreams or "ask me anything (AMA)" sessions that other channels do for milestones before - is that something you'd be interested in?

Thanks again for your support 🙂Feel free to leave AMA questions in the comments.

One thing that I learnt in the last year is that discounts are not an 'evil' sales tactic.

I've had this negative, limiting narrative in my mind since I released Logseq Mastery, but I was recently challenged by a friend. Their logic?

Simply apply the golden rule of "do unto others as you want done unto yourself."

When I see someone offering a discount, I think: "Oh, that's a nice opportunity to buy something. Do I really want it? Let me think about this properly".

I don't think: "Oh, you of low character! Just trying to create false scarcity and urgency blah blah (insert cynicism)"

I've seen many high-quality creators offering time-bound discounts, and I think it's about time I join them.

Full transparency: Today is my birthday. It's been a low sales month, so I also figured I'd give myself a little birthday present with (hopefully) an increase in sales. So from now until the end of July, there will be a 20% discount on the full Logseq Mastery bundle if you use the code HBDAY20.

(Just put it in the "Parity pricing coupon code" box)

Thanks as always for the support 🙏🏼

Do you have any colour preferences?

I have a cool new light which slightly alters the backdrop of my videos and I can't decide which I prefer, so figured I would outsource to the community 🙂

Hey everyone!

A small course-related announcement...

I'm excited to announce purchasing power parity (PPP) pricing for Logseq Mastery.

I've noticed a clear trend that individuals from countries with lower PPP are far less likely to become Logseq Mastery users. This is despite me deliberately keeping the price at the lower end of the PKM course spectrum.

I'm hoping that this will remove the obstacle of cost for more people globally, allowing broader access to this knowledge and a more representative Logseq Mastery user base over time.

You can check out eligibility and register for a PPP-discount here 👉🏼 blog.logseqmastery.com/ppp-pricing-eligibility/

Interested in the backstory? Here's a chart that tells the story of why I made the change:

- The bars show the top 10 countries by views on my YouTube channel in order from left to right.
- The vertical axis shows the ratio of the number of Logseq Mastery users over YouTube views.
- The colours indicate the purchasing power parity (PPP) index of the countries as per the World Bank data for 2021.

I also wrote a blog post on it if you're interested 👉🏼 blog.logseqmastery.com/post/introducing-purchasing…

Thanks as always
Dario
