It feels like there are different speeds that an essay can be presented. It's possible to make this "Music of KH3" video ~25 minutes if I wanted to--much like the early videos on KH1 and CoM--but I'd be blazing through a million interesting aspects in these tracks that won't have any time to settle in the viewer's mind. Not to mention all the terminology that might just go unexplained. Some conversations I've read through regarding the KH3 OST tell me this is a very bad direction to go, because there's a lot of important material that very frequently goes unaddressed.
In the opposite direction, explaining every detail in every single track would turn off most of the audience of these videos, and I think it'd really obscure the point that these games have a secondary narrative in the soundtrack that often goes unnoticed. My current draft of the 33-page script needs a lot of reduction.
Feels like managing this presentation speed it is part of the difficulty of getting a good flow. This "The Music of KH3" has been the most challenging script to balance by far, but I'm gonna keep carving away at it until it feels right.

"The Music of Kingdom Hearts: 𝝌[chi] Saga" is finished now at 2hr16m, and will be posted on new year's day. Now would be a great time to get caught up with the earlier videos in our series so far--this one will be building off all the previous observations we've made up until now.

Howdy everyone: many thoughts, head empty. The KH: x[chi] video is completely scripted and the video editing has begun. Appreciate your patience with this video, and now I can tell you why this has taken so long.
The Dream Drop Distance video ended up being 1hr 3min with a script that was 17 pages long. Unless I make any serious revisions, this chi script is currently 38 pages with as much reduction as possible--and I estimate this video will wind up being around 2 hours. I had considered splitting the content into a sort of Part 1 / Part 2 situation, but I think I would rather keep it as one long piece of media. I'm hoping that having four ~30-minute segments, an intermission, and many entries in the description's Table of Contents will be enough to keep the flow of the presentation as interesting as possible, and I have many fun little plans to break up the stream of monologue that I hope will be pretty interesting to watch and listen to.
That's it! The idea is for this video to release around the time that Dark Road is scheduled to conclude (edit: Aiming for late-December/early-January). In the meanwhile, if you'd like to keep track of script snippets and progress clips, you may find the twitter interesting:
