In 2007 John visited Borneo for the first time, and it made such an impression on him that we decided it would be the next big adventure for our family.

These are some photos of John in Borneo, taken almost 17 years ago now. Borneo offers a different kind of family adventure which we hope will help broaden our boys minds.

Meeting Orangutang, hiking in jungles, eating different food, seeing sky scrapers, meeting a whole bunch of new people.

For Crusoe, who still talks about India, this will likely be an enduring memory, and for Sawyer a great way for him to experience the diverse world around us. After all, we are never too young for that! For me and John, well we can't wait to have a holiday! Our farm in Portugal ‪@TheNewbys‬ has been quite all-consuming over the last few months, and as we head towards building our dream home, a little time away from the hustle is something we are really looking forward to.
