Hi! Small but long-overdue JCAYX update: Episode 2 finally has subtitles! Sorry it took so long.
Unfortunately, Episode 3 is still going to take a while. But don't worry, it's not cancelled!
It's probably gonna be pretty long (longer than Episode 2 and possibly even longer than Episode 1), so it might end up being split into two parts.
Also, I went ahead and changed the formatting of the episode titles, from ājcayx^(episode number)ā to ājcayx (episode number)ā. I thought it was a fun gimmick, but apparently it made the show more difficult for people to find when searching for it. Ah well.

I'm joking. In all seriousness, no one can be expected to always put out episodes monthly, it took me 8 years just make a continuation of own object show. To my lovely friends in the BFDIA crew, and to whomever is reading this: Donāt sweat it, youāve got all the time in the world. Go listen to some good music for me.
P.S. I don't hate bronies, but Tear Drop from BFDIA would hate them unfortunately.

OK this is probably a silly question and there is likely a widely-known solution here that I just donāt know about, but:
How do people who animate using the BFDI assets get them to be consistently scaled and positioned? If you download the PNGs (or SVGs) from the BFDI Wiki and import them into any graphics program (Blender, Powerpoint, GIMP, Anime Studio, etc.), the scale of each image varies wildly (see how the O mouth is huge in the picture? It just got like that when I imported it I didn't do anything other than move it around)
I assume that in the official BFDI .FLAs the assets are scaled properly by default, but I donāt use Flash and I know for a fact that a lot of people who use these assets donāt have Flash either. So how does one do it? Is it just trial and error until it looks right, maybe aligning them with BFDI screenshots as a reference?
P.S: soz for clogging up anyoneās YouTube community feeds with questions and posts like this that donāt relate to my videos; I know that YouTube added the community tab feature for the purpose of Ā”Ā”Ā”CONTENT CREATION!!! ONLY and stuff like that, and not as a makeshift replacement for dA journals, but I literally donāt know where else to ask questions like this relating to the OSC lol

Hereās my rough recreation of what this scene in JCAYX episode 1 where Margarine says āRyeyā but accentuates the ā...eyā was originally supposed to look like. This is how I envisioned it in my head when I recorded the line, but during the animation phase I either forgot about it or hadnāt decided to use random faces yet. Window from Object Twoniverse rolls in his grave.

Discord is just a crummy version of Skype to be honest. The only upsides it has are the dark theme and the fact that it isn't owned by Microsoft

Just got done watching the Inanimate Insanity finale and WOW... "BP" stood for "Blue Planet" from Challenge To Win the whole time???!!! This can't be real............................

One month ago, METALLIX_85 (formerly WindowsMaster1985, who created Object World and worked on several classic object shows) had his YouTube account of over 9 years wrongfully taken down. Someone hijacked his Google account on January 14th, and it got disabled before he had a chance to do undo the damage.
In the last month he has attempted to speak to YouTube's support team several times, but they haven't been of any help. He was told that they have the ability to move his channel to a new brand account, but that they wouldn't because they "couldn't find any unusual activity".
I encourage you to share this if you can. If you know someone who might be able to get into contact with YouTube about this, please let them know.

Iām late to this but thanks for 1K+ subscribers and 1K+ views on Episode 2 of JCAYX everyone! I wasnāt expecting the episode to get such a positive reception, but Iām glad people enjoy it.
This episode turned out better than I thought it would; it was pretty poorly planned compared to Episode 1, which is a big part of why it took so long. To my fellow creators: remember to always plan ahead and keep things organised! An hour of planning will save you weeks of working.
Next episode might be a āhalf-episodeā of sorts; I had some ideas for episodes 1&2 that were scrapped, and I'm considering using some of them in a non-competition-focused episode (kinda like IDFB except for just one episode... wait...) Maybe it'll be called jcayx^(2.5), maybe it'll have a completely different title. The great thing about making YouTube videos is that you can basically make whatever you want without any limitations!
Speaking of that last part, YouTube just marked my old unlisted Inanimate Insanity II audition from 9 years ago as 18+ only? I donāt know why, since thereās nothing inappropriate in it (besides being deafeningly loud). YouTube literally didnāt provide any reason for it as you can see in the screenshot. Iām probably not gonna appeal because I donāt really care that much but it's weirds right? If people miss it I'll upload a censored version (even though there's nothing to censor apart from lowering the volume)

YouTube messed up my images last time :( I hope it's fixed now
Episode 2 of JCAYX is (actually) pretty close to being finished
Thereās around 10 seconds of animation left, and then I just need to do some editing. It's not on par with episode 1 and it's drawn out more than I'd have liked, but itāll be just over 11 minutes long in total. Itāll release it the moment itās done, so sometime during this week (probably during the weekend).
Spoiler warning:
The second image attached is the remaining character silhouettes for the new characters in this episode. I wanted to release them periodically, but I got distracted soz :/ Donāt expect these characters to show up that much in the actual episode LOL

Object Galaxy is a so-called "object show" that I created in 2013. Five episodes exist, they are not on this channel, but you can find them elsewhere.
JCAYX is an animated web series that I created in 2023. Its premise, setting, art style, and characters are inspired by Object Galaxy, among other things.
