Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) has now activated the automatic number plate recognition camera for the middle bus lane, and it caught 90 drivers in 5 days. They will all receive a warning letter and if caught a second time will be issued a penalty charge notice (PCN).
Woodmere Avenue was the controversial accident hot-spot, which eventually had better design bollards put in place.
