BREAKING - Assyrian world star Juliana Jendo has been arrested by police after a raid on a party in Södertälje, Sweden
According to Telgenytt.se which broke the news, Juliana Jendo performed for the first time in Linköping on Friday. She was to give her second concert in Södertälje on Saturday.
A full house was waiting for the star to take the stage, but instead the organiser announced that she would not be performing as she had been arrested by the police.
According to reports, Jendo was arrested on suspicion of tax fraud, and the arrest must have taken place shortly before her scheduled performance in Södertälje. The arrest must be linked to the fact that the artist, who is a citizen of a country outside the EU, did not have a valid work permit.
The arrest raises many questions. Famous Assyrian musicians often give concerts in Sweden. How is it that a "work permit" was not required before? Why was Juliana Jendo not arrested at her first concert in Linköping?
