YOGA, MEDITATION AND SPIRITUALITY CANNOT BE SEPARATED FROM LIFE

Meditation is not just something you should do for a few minutes during the day, morning or evening. We have to learn to live a meditative life, which means bringing calmness, equanimity and equanimity to everything we do. If we are not calm in our activities, how can we expect them to be effective? This requires bringing order and harmony to our outer life, relationships and emotions.

Living a meditative life does not mean just not talking or standing idly by, let alone letting things flow. It is a life of mindful awareness in which we observe and pay attention not only to what is happening in the external world, but especially to the movements of our own mind.

We let our minds dwell in states of distraction, worry, gossip, or fantasy without thinking about how it affects our behavior. We do not cultivate our own minds, even though we may be developing many projects in the external world.

In order to meditate, we must first regain control of our own minds. We should not fill our mind with emotions, other people's demands, or any external stimuli.

We should be present in our own thoughts, not under the influence of other people. Becoming independent in thought and mind is not easy, but without it we are not really independent at all. Mental dependence is a kind of addiction and its influence exposes us to various negative influences. Life brings many challenges that interfere with our meditation. We must learn to accept them and not be distracted by them.

THE ONLY RIGHT WAY

I often get people writing to me about their insights, spiritual experiences, aha moments.

They explain to me how it really is, what is the essence of existence, of the universe, of knowledge. For they are the chosen ones, the exceptional ones, who have seen and known the real Truth. Sometimes they tell me how wrong I am and that I don't understand anything. Of course, they will conclude this from a one-minute video that is a clipping of some course or personal guidance.

One insight, no matter how it came to you - trauma, dramatic event, drugs, shock, meditation, or whatever - is not the end of the spiritual journey. It is the beginning. If you create a new dogma based on one experience and yet begin to proclaim it as the only possible path and truth, you have replaced one illusion with a new illusion.

There is no such thing as one right path. There are as many paths as there are people in the world. For another person, there is no other path that will work.

It certainly makes tremendous sense to learn from authentic teachers, mystics, personalities who have reached a higher level of consciousness. It's good to have a system and a process to help me at the beginning of my journey and prepare me to find my individual one. A systematic process is very useful because it helps me to put the pieces of the puzzle together more efficiently into a framework that I can then navigate through more smoothly.

But please never create a dogma of one single Truth. You are limiting your own progress. Moreover, if you start preaching it as a new religion, you are creating another dogma and cult that will harm not only you, but other people as well.

Be open to everything but critical of every path. Learn from many traditions from all teachers, question everything and everyone.

If you can’t find where your soul is hidden,
for you the world will never be real!
~ Kabir

We have forgotten the essence of life.
We don't ask for it.
We are prisoners of rationality and the drug of technology.
We have banished the spirit.
We are miserable, sad, pathetic and we don't know why.
We have lost our connection.
We've stopped understanding ourselves and the world.
We're looking out there.
But the meaning is hidden inside us.
Let's stop.
We'll see a new beginning.

WHY MOST PEOPLE NEVER SUCCEED?

❌ WE LACK DISCIPLINE - Very often we scatter our attention among a large number of interests and entertainments,
❌ WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE WANT - We don't look for our gifts, which are totally unique to each person and cannot be copied.
❌ WE DON'T HAVE THE WILL AND POWER - We don't have the will to develop and realize our dreams.
❌ WE WANT EVERYTHING NOW - We don't have the patience to persevere and continuously work with focus.
❌ WE ARE FEARFUL - We are afraid of failure, mistakes and we don't want to reach the bottom of our strength.
❌ WE HAVE NO POSITIVE ROLE MODELS - No one has taught us how to do this. There are many advisors, but there are few truly wise and mature beings.

AMBITION AND GREATNESS

We need to foster greatness and ambition in people. No one really wants to be mediocre.
Greatness is not manifested by some perversion, but by a real gift of uniqueness that benefits not only the individual but also society.

Our uniqueness can only be found when we are confronted with our dark sides. We need to become aware of our negative qualities and emotions, to understand and integrate traumas, complexes and fears. Only by integrating them will we allow them to not be unconsciously manifested into the world around us.

We must let go of conditioning and programming by our parents, teachers, society and find our own path. We must live our own life and not someone else's dreams and wishes.

MAUNA - SILENCE

Kristýnka indulges in silence from social networks. Did you know that TICHO in Sanskrit MAUNA is one of the very effective yoga techniques?

Not talking strengthens the other senses. In silence you can better observe the world around you and within you. It is a kind of fasting for the mind. Just as fasting from food purifies the body, MOUNA purifies the mind and releases mental energy.

The Ultimate Reality or the broadest consciousness is beyond the capacity of our senses and thinking. Thus silence is the only way to understand this concept. The physical MAUNA thus becomes the inner silence of the ANTAR MAUNA.

Do you ever indulge in physical or mental fasting as well?

The collective unconscious (the universal mind, the divine, the absolute) is often compared to the ocean. The vast expanse of all the water on earth is out of proportion to our tiny personal consciousness. But at certain moments it can become accessible to us.
