I'm pumped to show you my latest art piece that I did for Clip Studio Paint! 🖌️✨
I went all in on Art Nouveau for this one—a style I've always liked. I created "Summer" as a character, a beautiful woman with fiery orange hair, embodying those sunny vibes.
Here’s how I brought her to life:
1️⃣ Rough Sketch: Started with a rough draft.
2️⃣ Line Art: Cleaned it up with those sleek Art Nouveau lines, making sure every curve counted.
3️⃣ Base Colors: Picked warm tones to capture that summer glow.
4️⃣ Shadows - Render: Added depth and realism with shadows and details.
5️⃣ Post Production: Polished it off, making sure everything popped.

Hey everybody👋, here's one of my favourite paintings I created with my LP painting brushes.
This painting was a key part of the process because it was when I realised my brushes lacked the texture, vintage look, grain, and character of traditional paintings. 🎨
Even though it's just a quick study of J.C. Leyendecker, I learned a lot from it, like how to smooth and suggest curls in the hair without painting every detail, and how to be economical with my brush strokes to achieve an elegant, traditional feel in the finished piece. 🔥

In my art process, there are lots of stages, but my favorite is definitely rendering. When I'm rendering, I can throw on some music, an audiobook, or a podcast and just zone out. It's like being on auto-pilot, and I love it.🔥
But the toughest part? Concept art. That stage takes a ton of focus and energy. It's all about reading, brainstorming, and really thinking things through. It demands my full attention and can be pretty draining.😅

When I was a kid and I discovered what manga artist was or a comic artist I immediately thought to myself that I wanted to do that. 🎨 I even started my own little manga when I was 13 or 14 years old 😅 ha ha ha ha 😂whenever I look at it again I cannot help myself , it makes me laugh every time maybe one of these days I'm gonna share it with you guys. 👍
But well, my dream of ever drawing my own manga or comic never really happened. 🤷♂️ I hope I get to change that one day, but in the meantime, my consolation is to draw my favourite characters from comics or mangas like this one. Recently, I've been exploring the world of gouache painting🎨, and it's been quite the journey. 😅 While I really like it, it's also proving to be more challenging than I initially thought.
As a kid, I started with traditional materials like pencils and crayons. But when I got serious about art over a decade ago, I switched to digital.
But still, there's a part of me that wants to improve my skills with traditional paint. There's just something about seeing the physical paint on canvas or paper that digital art can't quite capture.🔥
