Hi guys, I know that some people are understandably a little unhappy about some aspects of my most recent upload so I wanted to make a post addressing that!
As Iāve mentioned before, the way I record videos makes it hard to predict how long they will be until I edit them down, and sometimes they end up being shorter than expected which was the case here! I want to change how I film my videos to stop this from happening because itās frustrating. Usually this isnāt a problem and Iāve uploaded short videos on my channel before, but this one was sponsored by raid: shadow legends, and since my section speaking about them was quite long it ended up being a third of the video. I can see how this seems misleading when you click expecting a certain length of time!
In the future I will try to make sure my videos will be longer if they include a sponsor, I actually wanted to re-record this one but didnāt have time. Iāve never been good at uploading frequently, otherwise I might do something like Gibiās āsponsored saturdayā so that people can expect it! I also just want to say that I will put real effort into making my sponsored sections as relaxing as possible, to be honest Iām actually really proud of how my raid section turned out and was happy to be sponsored by them since it feels a bit like a right of passage in a way hahah
But yes, I will be having sponsors in some of my videos from now on: if that alone makes you angry then Iām sorry! ASMR creators donāt make as much as other YouTubers since we intentionally turn off our midroll and post-rolls ads, so it really helps with allowing me to keep making content full-time. I do appreciate the constructive feedback in the comments!
