Live stream and content update!

Going to be adjusting my streaming hours. Was Sunday/Monday 9pm-11pm EST and Thursday 9pm-12am EST. It will now be Thursday/Sunday 9pm-12am EST. I find myself streaming past my scheduled time anyways and going from 3 days to 2 days allows me more editing time for YouTube guides on titles I am actively working on.

That being said, I am shooting for 1-2 guide videos per week on active titles and will be playing games one at a time. This allows for a higher quality analysis on game mechanics and strategies. The core focus of this channel is to teach what I have learned by creating concise guides of the best approaches to take with your play through. It takes a lot of time and play testing to figure out what works best which is why focusing on one title at a time is going to yield much higher quality content.

That being said, I will do my best to keep up with the most current and most requested AAA titles with occasional throw backs to the most popular older titles (Witcher 3)! My goal is 1-2 months on any given title depending on the amount of content the game has to offer. I have another few weeks of Assassin's Creed Valhalla lined up, but will be looking for a new game to catch my interest afterwards.

Once I get several titles lined up for the coming months, I will post a look-ahead schedule for you all to anticipate the next titles I will be releasing content for. Keep an eye out for that in the next couple weeks!

Thanks guys!

As promised, current set up!

Old set up was a pre-built HP Omen 30L with a Ryzen 5 3600 and an Nvidia GTX 1660 Super. Which is fine for 1080p. Until I wanted to go to up to 1440p after getting a killer 1440p monitor.

I upgraded RAM from 16GB to 32GB, PSU from 550W to 750W, and GPU from the 1660 Super to a 3070 Ti. But I was less than thrilled about the thermal performance of the case and CPU cooler.

So...

I got a new case (NZXT H510i), motherboard (Asus ROG Strix B550 F), CPU (Ryzen 5 5600X), CPU cooler (Corsair H60), and some extra 120mm fans. I took apart the old PC and assembled the new PC.

My 3070 Ti GPU runs my primary monitor/games and stream encoding. My 1660 Super runs the secondary monitor for doing stuff while gaming without impacting performance. Amazing set up, absolutely love it!

Hey fellow gamers!

As many of you have seen, my activity has been inconsistent over the last couple years. I don't usually share details of my life. But I feel to be transparent to those of you who follow me, I'd share what I can.

Just over 2 years ago, I changed jobs and moved out of state and shortly after, my son was born which changed everything! Best thing to happen in my life!

As things steadied out middle of last year, I rebranded and began making content again! I was so excited with how things were going, but it was short lived.

Since the beginning of this year, there have been several life changing events for both myself and immediate family members. The kinds of life changing events that require time to recalibrate priorities.

I'm happy to say I am now in a position to rebuild the momentum I once had. It will be a process to find a balance between everything, but I will give it my best!

I have made some recent significant improvements to my work/gaming station. Looking forward to sharing that with you guys in the next couple days! I'll leave y'all a sneak peek for that.

Here's my modest set-up:

In short, I use a single PC set up for gaming and live streaming - the NVIDIA GPU makes it doable without over-taxing the CPU with both the game and rendering the stream.

PC - HP Omen
GPU: GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor
Memory: 16 GB RAM (15.92 GB RAM usable)
Motherboard: HP 87C3
Operating system: Windows 10

Laptop - Nothing fancy, Dell Thinkpad I use to view my streams live and to look up info on the fly. Not worth mentioning the specs ;-P

Monitor - Samsung curved 27" LED monitor

Webcam - Angetube HD

Mic - Blue Snowball Ice

Things will be upgraded in time, but this works for now.

So as I'm on vacation with the family, I am also doing a lot of "behind the scenes" work to make sure my next set of content is as good as can be. I will be back to creating/editing/posting guides and reviews once I return from my vacation next week.
