Iron Jaw are from Fort Worth TX and play metal in the tradition of the elder gods: Priest, Motorhead, Sabbath, etc. We call it "heavy metal" -- the younger kids call it "rock and roll". Either description is appropriate.
Most headbangers became aware of Iron Jaw in 2020 when they released their debut CD Chain of Command. The popular webzine Sentinel Daily described Chain of Command as "a suberb synthesis of most of the gods of the old school." Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing's site simply stated "Iron Jaw play metal in the classic tradition."
