Idea pitch

YouTube why not allow for another separate tab in the app to play a second video together with the option to have comments show below, this way due to the attention span of people constantly switching video after video they can at least get a preview of being able to watch the second video and of course have the initial video on the other tab paused, with the option to still read the youtube comments which are most likely what the audience will do before watching the video so that they don’t have to worry to much in anticipation of what the other video entails, and that they don’t feel as pressured to watch the next video immediately and so that they have an idea of what the next video may be about. An example would be a picture of a glitch in the YouTube app that happened coincidentally while I switched from watching NBA highlights to watching Martin mystery.

Another option YouTube, hear me out, is to make subreddits and help make finding small YouTube channels easier for people who are starting out on YouTube and for people who are looking to support small YouTube channels, there are countless missed opportunities for smaller YouTube audiences which can and may be a factor on why many people are discouraged on starting a youtube channel especially when trying to make it a secondary income and a hobby of theirs since its becoming too saturated and saturated in the sense that the algorithm is overshadowing other youtube channels at times (hopefully there is a way to fix this).

Another thing to add would be the lessening of the max subscriber count from 500 to 100 subscribers, similar to how Medium makes it at least 100 followers for them to start earning passive income for the articles they publish on Medium, hopefully this change can help not just Youtube still maintain its reputation as still and arguably one of the top company’s in user-generated content, but help the audience with their viewing experience and their way of living (earning secondary or primary income) to help make their lives better, and best of all change the lives for the brand and importantly for the people and their experience with youtube as a whole
