Daal Band takes its name from the Persian letter “Daal” (د), the first letter of Dousti—meaning friendship. Formed in 2013, the band is built on over a decade of camaraderie and collaboration. Daal fuses Pop music with traditional Iranian vocals to create a unique and evolving sound. With two acclaimed albums—Walk of Ordibehesht (2016) and White Raven (2018)—their work explores themes of humanity, society, migration, and the environment.
