Once again it's been two months since my last video. This channel will change. For the fourth time. And I am excited about it.
I strongly believe in trying new things. It's key to learning new skills and also key to learning who I am. Over time this channel has very different audiences, from bitcoiners, to people interested in learning, to the generalists, AI minds and programmers. I'm still all of these.
Phase 1: Bitcoin
I started this channel talking about Bitcoin. After 50+ videos in german and english I felt like I said everything I wanted to say and it's time to move on. Or as Satoshi said: "I moved on to other things". I still love Bitcoin and spend a lot of time building bitcoiner.bio - a Linktree alternative for Bitcoiners.
Phase 2: Going everywhere and nowhere
I did videos about everything I found interesting. Some of these videos are my favourites I've ever done, like "The Digital Renaissance". These videos had no connection to each other and felt way to isolated.
Phase 3: AI
My best performing videos are about AI. I was one of the first ones talking about ChatGPT and digged myself deeply into the AI rabbit hole afterwards. I was never interested in becoming an AI news channel or thought leader or anything like that though, so it was time to move on.
Phase 4: Making things
Being tired of talking I started making more things and documenting my way to get there. Like a small anime sequence, a voice clone of Rick Rubin or a whole language learning app. I faced the same problems I had in phase 2. Everything was just super isolated and played no role in the grander scheme of things. I also must admit that the view numbers where very discouraging since the videos took an absurd amount of time to create. I learned a ton in this phase.
And now I am moving on to phase 5.
Phase 5: ?
I want to make more videos about what I am actually doing. I have been traveling the world for the past 4 years, I am a self-imployed indie hacker building bitcoiner.bio, theguide.gg and lenguia.com. I am a generalist interested in code, design, writing, editing among other things. There must be an audience who is interested in this kind of lifestyle, my point of view and wants to join my journey.
Next video is coming soon. I want to do weekly uploads from then on. Sorry for the long text. Happy to read your thoughts if you have some :)

To start the second half of the year I'm challenging myself to upload a short every day for the month of July. I just want to experiment with different formats and topics and work on videos every day without the heavy commitment that my long form videos sometimes entail. So far I really enjoy the process! First 5 are already available and the next ones are planned too!

You still have to be a little patient for my next few videos. The ones I am working on now require significantly more research and me using new tools. Experimentation and learning takes time. I do however believe that the wait will be worth it and that I will be able to raise my own bar quite notably soon. Stay tuned and enjoy your day!
