Hey! Nikki here. I created this YT account to share my passions, which include dancing, music, trail running, & writing. āAlways find the leanā first referred to when Iād go into the woods and notice the lovely ways the tree branches tilted - swaying, framing, intersecting the path. It developed also into a way I approach fear. I may not be able solve All The Things. But instead of running away/numbing myself with distractions (the familiar), I try to face one thing at a time.
So, I try to find the āleanā - that which gets me closer to facing my fears. It might look like pausing & breathing when I get nervous and ramble. Or it could be literally leaning forward, instead of back, if Iām struggling with body shame. It may just be staring the pink elephant in the iris: letting thoughts in, & through. No rules - just small shifts in perspective that help me function in life.
