Coming up this week, I'll be filming a fall cookie episode featuring 2 cookies from Trader Joes and one from Aldi and to top that off I finally found the Doctor Bombay 'Peanut Butter Jellytime" ice cream.
Wednesday's DND episode may be delayed due to the filming schedule, but it's going to be a good one as I have asked 3 players to join me and discuss some "House Rules".

I wanted to reach out to those who have mentioned the use of AI in my thumbnails.
I’m primarily a creator and an artist and I have no love for AI taking artists jobs, however it is also a useful tool for creators, like myself, who are a one man operation.
I’ve created over 1700 thumbnails, 1675 or so were created through my own means. Photoshoots, photoshop and the like. Each of those thumbnails takes me 1-2 hours to create. I am very particular about the way I want it to look. I want it to be eye catching and related to whatever the subject is.
Using AI images has helped me shave that time to less than a half an hour.
If we were a channel with 100,000 subscribers, I would hire someone to handle all the little aspects of content creation. I’d also have a crew of camera persons, an editor, an entertainment lawyer, and a publicist. But I am one man who has been doing it all. Setting up camera, lights, filming, editing, creating thumbnails, photoshoots, and promoting.
Mind you, I’m not complaining. I love the process, start to finish, however, I am still just one person with a life outside of YouTube and finding that balance means sacrificing here and there. Thumbnails seemed like the most logical and possible solution to reducing my time.
Does the image look like a younger cousin sometimes? Sure, but it’s the content of the episodes I am most concerned with.
So bear with me while we work towards 1,000,000 subscribers and after that, I promise that all my thumbnails will revert back to a more original state.

Just a reminder that there will be no new 'The Vodkast Does DND' video this coming Wednesday, so that we can share with you, 'The Roast to 50'. A very special episode of The Vodkast that features, yours truly, getting roasted to hell and back.

As of yesterday, I don't have any new @DNDWizards content filmed. Though I have enough ideas to fill the rest of summer with, I hate rushing through a Dungeons & Dragons video.
They take more time to create, and I like them to feel pretty polished. So, with that being said, I do plan on creating a new @DungeonAlchemist showing off all the new fancy features in their latest update "Magic", this week, but I may take a short DND break and slow the releases to bi-weekly. That will give me a little more time to make a nicer episode.

Hi friends!
I want to give you a heads up that we are doing some experimenting the next 2 weeks. Though there are 3-4 snack reviews peppered in, I want to start branching out a bit.
This is going to be a busy year for The Vodkast and I want to make some stuff for you guys that isn't what you're used to seeing. I have 2 new series starting with some friends. One is titled "The Corey Stories". It will be part of 'The Road to 50' series and will be filled with some pretty unbelievable stories about life with my best friend.
The second series, loosely called, "Art with Artie" is going to be a painting/drawing series that will encompass tutorials, stories, nerd banter and live demos. I have been itching to get back into art, more, and Arthur T came up with the idea. I look forward to working with both of my lifelong friends in these new endeavors.
On a side note, if you haven't checked out my interview with BB Melnson, check it out and let me know if that's something you'd like me to continue with. I loved making that episode and I am not short on musicians I could reach out to.
Lastly, and still very loosely, I will be producing a series of DND (Dungeon and Dragons) videos, chronicling the past, present and future of my gaming world, "Athalia" as well as some call in questions, and topics gathered from social media.
Sadly, I think the live 'LynchburgDoes' show will be getting pushed back at least until the 2nd quarter. It's a series, I really look forward to moving forward with, but not my priority, at the time.
Also, if any of you have any suggestions of new show ideas, foods you'd like me to review or just have some thoughts on what I'm doing, please let me know. This channel is for you!

Through my tragically untimely illness, I managed to eek out an episode today, that comes out Monday. It was a blast to make, even though there are a million cuts because of coughing. I hope you all enjoy "The Tragically Illkast"

Here’s a little BTS for you. I normally film a week, to two weeks out. I do this so that if something happens and I am unable to film for a week, the channel doesn’t skip a beat.
For obvious reasons, this time of year moves a million miles an hour and I was only able to get Pickle Week shot and scheduled before I tragically fell ill.
Two days ago, I felt like I was getting sick. Yesterday, I was worse, and today, I feel like death warmed over. Needless to say, I have not been able to schedule any new episodes.
With that said, hopefully I will be back on my feet before the week is over and I will just play catch up.
I would LOVE to film today, but sadly this bug has got it’s hooks in me. I just wanted to give you guys the heads up in case I can’t get a new episode filmed before the week is up.
I hope you are all having a Happy and Healthy New Year!
