So new change to YouTube's monetization policy; the new sub goal for me is 510 subscribers instead of 1,100 thanks to YouTube making it possible to earn ad revenue for 500 sub channels. Once my channel gets to 510, I'll stop asking for subs & instead just ask in the description, to not annoy y'all too much. thx :)

I have a copyright question. I have a lot of ideas to post about products, video games, characters, animated shows, and fan theories, but I don't want people to steal my ideas for the worst, like making a profit off me or overcharging people for a product I think should be free, or other stuff.
I'm wondering how I should go about this. Should I do some copyright protections first or does YouTube video copyright already provide that?
My ideas are quite similar to people making artwork for their own fan lore as a basis.
Just a question I've always wanted answers too but Quora/Reddit comments have been dreadful
