Folks, after my accomplishment with the 5K, and doing some deep soul searching, I am going to take a break from Social Media for a bit.

I need to spend time working on regaining my health, physically, mentally, and spiritually without the distraction of all the different social media platforms.

I will be back the later part of July to apprise you on how things are going in the garden, and my health journey.

Until then, I hope whereever you are, you're wonderfully blessed. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

In honor of Darci from ‪@ThePurposefulPantry‬ I am sharing these pictures of fresh herbs I just harvested today. They promptly went into my dehydrator.

Bee balm, oregano, tarragon.

The difference is night and day! The North Garden area is our newest garden patch that used to be pasture land. It's completely devoid of nutrients and organic matter. It will take a lot of work to fix it.

However, the South Garden is the one we have been building over the last 8 years, using the Back to Eden gardening method. Look at those nutrient numbers and the amount of organic matter.

This is why the Back to Eden gardening method, Mel Bartholomew's method, Ruth Stout's method, and others like them, are touted! They do repair and enrich the soils, naturally!

Due to low support on both platforms and my health struggles, as well as privacy concerns, I have left the Facebook/Instagram platforms. I will only be doing content here on YouTube as able. Also, I will NOT have a website anymore, again, due to lack of support.

Thanks to those who have supported me. I do appreciate it.

My second set of seedlings are off to a great start.

I just removed the humidity domes and gave them a drink of water. I will leave them on the heating mats a bit longer. It can get rather cool in our house overnight, so I don't want to risk stunting these guys. Also, I still have a few late bloomers so-to-speak. Cayenne peppers are a bit slower to germinate.

I will be adding a fan to give them some air circulation to help strengthen them. I do have a lot of seedlings per cell right now, but I'm not worried about it. I will separate them when they are a little bit bigger. I will be giving them some organic fertilizer to make sure they aren't competing for nutrients.

I will probably start my Winter Sowing tomorrow. Though now it would technically be spring.

These last few days have been rough. I've been knocked down with a fibromyalgia/ chronic fatigue syndrome flare up. I have lots of discomfort, I'm exhausted, and barely able to do anything.

Thankfully my husband is kind enough to let me sleep as much as I need, and he cooks me food so I stay nourished. The times I am awake, I sit in my chair and crochet, or watch YouTube. Stuff that doesn't take a whole lot of concentration.

This is hard to deal with. This is why I "can't work" outside of the home. Yet, it's not classified as a disability, because the attacks come and go, they aren't "long term" and "can be managed with medication" according to the medical field.

It's just a big push from the pharmaceutical companies to have folks on all these different medications that cause more harm than good. But, since I don't subscribe to their ideology, I am technically "refusing trestment" to keep my condition at bay.

So, this is my life.

I normally don't start winter sowing until Mid to late March, here in Central Michigan, because the weather has been getting warmer and warmer every year. This weather is crazy!
This is a snap shot of what today is supposed to be like.

It's happened. I finally got laid out with illness. Partially a toxin dump from breaking down fat, and partially a virus that's going around.

So I will be resting for a few days. But there is plenty of pre-scheduled content in store for your viewing pleasure.
