Through this channel I teach various aspects of data-based decision making. I have a Ph.D. in Statistics and have taught at the university level for 30 years at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. I have also worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a biostatistician. My undergraduate majors were Mathematics and Computer Information Systems, and prior to graduate school I worked as a database designer/developer and applications programmer. So my entire career has involved developing and using procedures for obtaining useful information from raw data, from designing databases in which to store data, helping in the design of experiments to generate data for evaluating the effects of treatments, developing and applying statistical procedures in the analysis of the resulting data, to teaching others how to design experiments and properly analyze data.
