I’m in Japan for the next couple weeks! Wasn’t able to record any videos but have made tentative plans to get some really good stuff out when I get home. Including updates for Crisis in Chronolia (check out Bunn’s channel for more videos), Crash Twinsanity Infinity, and maybe even Spyro: Return of the Dragonfly… if you’re lucky!
Saw Soichi Terada again last night and will be seeing another live show of his in a couple days - he’ll be playing his Jungle and Ape Escape tracks in that set which I’ve never seen before, can’t wait. Plus Kenny Omega’s return to pro wrestling on the 5th (my GOAT). Goodbye and goodnight, bang! 💥

So let’s talk Spyro: Crisis in Chronolia. A new fangame that’s being developed by @Bunbaroness. A few things first.
1. Subscribe to her now for more updates!
2. Yes there’s always an inherent risk of C&Ds, but I once again have to point you all to numerous other fangames and projects of IP owned by Microsoft/Activision that don’t get touched.
3. It has been developed for over a year now, and the plan is for the code to be open source so it can serve as a foundation for other fan projects.
Now for what I want to ask you here:
What do YOU want to see in Crisis in Chronolia? Would you rather it be a large game with many levels, or a smaller project that could serve as a teaser for something more? Did you know that the Japanese versions of Spyro 1 & 2 contained a secret collectable if you connected your PocketStation to the PS1? They are Dragonfly Eggs! To learn more about this, check out the guides I did showing where to find these eggs in the game. When collected, they will unlock games on the PocketStation.

Did you know you can double jump in Spyro 3? Well, thanks to this patch, you can. And a few years ago, I made a "Double Jump Guide" that plays through the game with the code enabled, so we can reach all kinds of cool places. Hey everyone! To my newer subscribers, you may not have seen me cover the June 15th, 1998 Prototype of Spyro the Dragon.
This prototype / alpha version contains many changes from the original game, so I suggest checking out the playlist and letting me know what you think in the comments.
By the way, I was also looking back at my old retrospectives - turns out my Spyro 1 retrospective is almost 12 years old now. I think it might be time to dive back into Spyro 1, but in true widescreen, 1080p etc.

For my more recent subscribers, you may not have seen this cool series I made almost a decade ago. It's using the moon jump code for Spyro 3 to enter areas of the game you normally can't as Spyro. So for example, Sheila, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, Agent 9 and Sparx levels, as well as messing up skateboarding and other challenges.
