Hellooo everyone!
I wanted to give an update on the current situation & scheduling. TLDR; Probably a video next week, but recording setup still isn't set up so new videos will be few and far between for now.
The long version:
The past week I've moved house which all went quite well. However, I underestimated the impact this would have on my schedule and ability to record new videos. I have some pre-recorded footage that still needs editing which is something I probably can start doing somewhere next week. I am unable to properly install my recording setup, however, so the recording of new footage will have to wait a little longer. Additionally, I have a new deadline for my Full STack development course coming up in early July which will receive priority over recording unfortunately.
However, I do expect things to normalize over the next few weeks which should allow me to start recording and publishing videos once more. I'm sorry this is all taking longer than intended, but after my last map-making burnout I'd rather take some extra time rather than force it and burn out on record/map-making again.
Thanks for your patience and talk to you again soon!
Happy mapping!
Cheers,
FF

Hi there everyone!
Just wanted to give a heads-up that this channel is definitely not dead but I'm currently enjoying a lovely holiday in Italy. I, unfortunately, didn't manage to finish editing some videos before I took off, so I'll be trying to pick up the rhythm once I return somewhere next week.
However, I will also have to start with moving to our new house, so the publishing schedule will remain disrupted for quite some time. Nevertheless, I fully intent on keeping the videos coming, so keep an eye out for those!
See you all soon!

TLDR: I'll have an extremely busy schedule the coming 2 months so uploads will be few and far between.
Not quitting, just have some other things that require priority.
Hello everyone!
I have some unfortunate news for you today, I won't be publishing a video today and won't be able to maintain a steady stream of videos for the next two months. I have two big deadlines to meet within the coming months for a Full-Stack development course that I'm following besides work, will be on holiday for most of May, and will start moving to our new house straight after. I simply don't have the time to keep dishing out a new video every week. However, I do want to keep publishing videos when I have the time. Presumably, I can pick up my regular schedule from June onwards.
So what's on the schedule for the coming releases:
- Finishing the Sewers Recreate video series
- a Dungeondraft vs Inkarnate video
- The Ultimate Tutorial series. < - I'd like to release that as a series of videos at once.
- Potentially a new Mod video if new mods go live.
I'm not happy it has to come to this as I was doing quite well with the flow of videos and I really notice the channel picking up speed. I simply don't see how I can manage it timewise though, so I'll have to make do. I'll keep a close eye on the channel so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
Cheers,
FF

Hello everyone!
Unfortunately, there won't be a new video today. An unusually busy schedule has gotten in the way of recording/editing. We'll pick up where we left off next week!

Wow! I've hit 2000 subscribers today. Thank you guys so much for your continued support. I'm seriously proud of this moment and I know it's a cliche, but not really something I had expected when I started out recording video. Hope to entertain and help you guys for many videos to come!

I am again in need of your opinions!
Would you want to see an Ultimate Beginners Tutorial for Dungeondraft series on the channel?
I'd will likely be a set videos going over the true basics of the programme: Purchase software, Setup, How to update in the future, Explaining all tools, Keyboard shortcuts, Custom assets (the choices out there & how to install them), export settings and more.
I would not go over the actual map-making process itself as I cover that extensively in other videos. It would be aimed at getting familiar with the software but will include tips on where to go from there.
Thanks to everyone who's filled in the previous poll. The answer was clear, a Dungeondraft vs Inkarnate video is in the works and a video on Earning money with map making will follow soon after.

I've got some exciting news!
As I keep searching for ways to improve the quality of my videos, I've concluded that I haven't been entirely content with using my current microphone. So, it's time for an upgrade!
It should be delivered later this week! If I can get it set up during the weekend I can start recording with it and upload the first video with the new audio in mid-February (2 weeks from now).
The following two videos have already been recorded, one airing tomorrow (or today, depending on when you read this) at 18:30 CET.
Is anyone familiar with this mic? Anything I need to keep in mind? All help is appreciated!
