Jazz performances of classics by The Beatles (and more) are coming up!
This week, we begin to publish exciting new jazz-pop concerts - each in several parts.
On Friday (April 12th), part 1 of an encounter with Kristina Barta (singer) & Martina Barta (piano) premieres. The jazz sister duo performs songs from the Beatles catalog, a Charlie Chaplin classic, evergreens and beautiful original compositions (accompanied by fellow musicians Jaromรญr Honzรกk & Marek Urbรกnek on double bass and drums).

G.F. Handel's opera "Semele" starring Cecilia Bartoli premieres on February 17th.
This Saturday, we present to you the "Ioan Holender Farewell Concert: A Benefit Gala with Opera World Stars". The spectacular opera event took place in 2010. It celebrated the work of singer and famous opera administrator Ioan Holender, who was retiring from his position as the director of the Vienna State Opera after nearly two decades.
Excerpts from 40 premieres from Holender's tenure were showcased, with support from a notable lineup of opera stars, including Anna Netrebko, Plรกcido Domingo, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Natalie Dessay, Diana Damrau, Piotr Bieczala, Thomas Quasthoff, and many many others. The event was made accessible to a wide audience through public viewings as well as through live tv broadcasts. Get notified and enjoy the premiere tomorrow at 7 pm!
