Crime is on the rise and future predictions from the national statistics suggest there will be an increase of 34% by 2030. Criminals are becoming more brazen and are committing more serious offences. Some of the most common crimes include: use of a knife, car theft, burglary, assault and robbery. There are a number of reasons for this increase in crime, including an ageing population, increasing wealth inequality and cuts to police resources. It's essential that we do everything we can to tackle this problem head-on, because if we don't then it could become a much bigger problem in the not to distant future.
Crime Report Weekly will cover various criminal cases.
