Liana French Immersion Songs is an original music CD which I created to teach English speaking kids the French language. As a musician/songwriter, born and raised in Quebec, now living in Ontario, Canada, with two kids of my own in French Immersion school, I wanted to provide a fun musical way to help kids learn basic French vocabulary. Having taught French at a Montessori school, I found myself running out of fresh material. Kids learn a foreign language really well through music. So, I met with my children's grade one teacher and got the vocabulary sheets for the entire year. I went home and wrote a song for each month of the school year, using 95% of the words on the sheets! This CD is highly beneficial for all primary grades, both Core French and French Immersion.
