as for the monthly review, itās gonna be made a little different than usual because i just cannot bring myself to edit the video like how i usually do because itās time consuming asf and im lazy š¤
its going to include all songs i liked from this month, last month (excluding hybe bc of their boycott and riize bc of theirs as well, i do like impossible tho, its a banger), and also other songs such as jpop, ppop etcā¦ that i want to introduce yall to so yall will still be getting a bunch of song recommendations in that video, i just wonāt be including songs i didnāt enjoy and i wonāt be ranking them bc i donāt have it in me š

š hey guys, sorry i havenāt posted in awhile, itās actually due to personal reasons that arenāt fun unfortunately, but i decided to return from my hiatus to talk abt the blockout thatās currently going on. basically a bunch of ppl are coming together to block a bunch of celebrities and influencers on multiple social media platforms who havenāt spoken up abt whatās going on in palestine. why are we doing this? bc their platforms are so large, one post (which they should be doing way more than posting once) but one post could help generate so much money and get many families in gaza and rafah to safety, bc of how large their fanbases are and theyāre just staying silent most likely bc it doesnāt affect them and they donāt care. the point of doing this is so that theyāll see that theyāre losing followers for not speaking up, followers is how these ppl stay relevant and without your followers, then what? we just want these ppl to use their platforms for good, itās not asking for much. this also extends to kpop. ik kpop has a lot of restrictions on what idols can and cannot say, that is why i have personally blocked all big4 artists to start with since companies like hybe (who literally has a zionist in office) and jyp (who collabed with a boycotted brand and is now having skz work with zionists) bc theyāre the biggest offenders. the goal with western celebrities and the goal with these kpop companies is the same. itās to grab their attention that this situation in palestine is serious. people are actively losing their lives everyday. we need to spread the word, the more ppl talk, the more ppl donate, the more ppl get help. and ik kpop companies most likely wonāt speak out, but if they stop working with these brands and ppl who support the genocide, thatās already a foot in the right step. as much ppl as possible should participate.
