1\ Student Section
Work with a small group of influential students to create excitement about the games w/ themes:

Organize by 🗣️ & social media… create energy & enthusiasm
2\ Halftime Entertainment
Halftime of the varsity games is prime promotional time for your program, with everyone involved already there
Work with your school for available dates
▪️Youth teams scrimmage
▪️Honor alumni
▪️Recognize your middle school teams
▪️Execute fundraisers
3\ Media Day
Replace picture day with media day!
Along with team & individual pictures, take promotional videos, have graphics made, & have audio interviews
▪️Take picture day up a notch
▪️Helps w/ future promotions
Coordinate w/ the school photo & media classes
4\ A Season Theme
Get players/families on board with a vision & differentiate one season from another
Pick a theme that drives home a community message/vision
Print on T- shirts, make graphics
Ex: “Brick by Brick” to emphasize the building process with an inexperienced group
5\ Strategic Naming
Name plays after your school mascot, school colors, the players of your program’s past
Exhaust these options for associations before using meaningless names
Ex. A BLOB series of 3 plays - name them after your school colors (black, white, gold)
