I post religious, philosophical, and sociopolitical content with a focus on Israel, the Middle East, and American politics from an intersectional perspective: gay conservative libertarian Jewish convert immigrant and racial minority for most of my life. I keep dancing when hypocritical ignoranuses laughably call me homophobe or Nazi, projecting their own bigotry onto the object of their zenophobia.
* studied in Jewish seminary (yeshiva) for 8 years;
* fluent in Hebrew, working knowledge of Aramaic, basic Arabic;
* lived in Israel since 2003 - nearly half my life.
I don't claim Jewish ancestry and yet so-called 'racist' Israel granted me full citizenship (ie: I have Middle Eastern nationality).
My first significant exposure to Jews was from staunchly anti-Semitic sources, outside of my family.
Now that I'm fluent in Hebrew and have studied Talmudic literature in depth, I know that most anti-Jewish claims are laughable.
Am Yisra'el Hai!
