The Quilt
Welcome to the Quilt. The Quilt is a collection of videos featuring people authentically sharing important and valuable ideas about health and wholeness as well as spirituality and philosophy. These ideas may not always be in perfect agreement with each other, but perfect agreement is not the nature of authentic conversation.
The Quilt is a place to learn and share what it means to be human and what is possible. When we live in possibility, we have an open mindset. With this set of attitudes, we are prepared to honestly and effectively address the challenges we face.
A key aspect to these videos is emotional self regulation. The main function of the mind is to regulate thoughts and feelings. When my body is calmer, I see the world, others, and myself more objectively. Moreover, when I am in a whole brain state and calm, I turn toward people and resources when I am challenged.
