A correction and update to Friday's video regarding Song's defamation against me. Also, a poll.
Hi all, I'm posting this to make sure no one can claim I'm deliberately leaving false information up. I added to the description of the video from Friday, but I want to make sure everyone has seen this.
I actually underestimated how long Song planned to stay in the country in Friday's video. I discovered the mistake when I dug up the old screen grabs. The original agreement was for her to stay from May to June. In early October 2024, after a fight with her mother, she wanted to come in December instead. I offered March. That wasn't good enough for her. December to June is clearly overstaying Canadian immigration limits, so this idea that I was just some big meanie because I was angry isn't true.
The screen grabs I found disprove her claim that she made and others have repeated that I "just suddenly turned on her". I will not be posting these screens because of the high risk I will miss editing out someone else's name, notably Song's boyfriend, whom I believe she has also been flagrantly lying about and to.
Instead I'm going to share excerpts of the conversation in question, which began on the evening of October 7th, into early October 8th, 2024, and concluded on October 21st, 2024. You can find them here if you care. docs.google.com/document/d/1CvPpWha-JrD2qg16FL_hVz…
After Friday's video, Song posted, then pinned, a comment claiming she "may" have "accidentally" put the screen grabs out of order in her video but insisted it doesn't change anything.
I disagree. The video that is currently on her channel is a reupload, so she has already changed something from the original, and ther claim is that the change in me was "sudden". Therefore, the order of events is central to her claims.
It was provably not sudden on my part. She was the one who cut off contact. Yes, I was angry at being lied to. Anyone would be. But she was the one who stomped off in a huff and cut off communication, after having been offered a road map to remaining in the community and having its support.
It is my opinion that she is still engaging in deliberate dishonesty.
In light of this, I'm putting to a vote whether to keep her appearances on Two Women Talking on the channel. I've spoken to the discord community about this and the opinions were split. On the one hand, the content likely contains a great many lies and lies of omission. On the other hand, some people found the content informative, notably corrections on things like Song's use of dated terms to describe the Inuit that other Americans did not know were insulting.
It will be a great deal of work to remove the content, but part of me wants it gone so it's clear I don't endorse any of the nonsense she's said, and there's no way to remove all the embedded ads for her books. But I'll leave it up to you, the community.
