Thereâs a lot thatâs been said about Trumpâs ego and his inability to take responsibility for mistakes, but tonightâs debate performance shows that he has taken direction and criticism seriously since the last election. People hated his bullying demeanor in that one 2020 debate. Tonight was such an improvement. Dignified and confident. Good for him.
On Monday I said the name of the game for Trump for this debate is âself-control.â Heâs demonstrated that well. Confident, stable, knowledgeable. Assured, but not a bully. He let the contrast between himself and Biden speak for itself. He even seemed sympathetic toward him at some points, which served him well.

âLaws shouldnât be based on your opinion!â âYou canât legislate morality!â
Iâm sorry, what do you think laws are? All laws are based on opinions about morality.
âMurder is bad and should be illegalâ is not an objective conclusion we came to via the scientific method. It is an opinion based on the belief that human beings have innate value and therefore have rights.
And - guess what? - not all belief systems hold to this view. It was Christianity that upended the ancient pagan world by advocating for this concept of dignity and rights, and it was with this concept that Christianity that forged the Western world.
Secular liberalism has deluded you into thinking that rights and laws are just âcommon senseâ and require no belief system. Not sure how anyone could buy such obvious doodoo!

Putting the Ten Commandments in schools isnât the same as putting the Quran or a statue of Baphomet in schools for at least a few reasons:
1) The 10 commandments are true,
2) the 10 commandments are good, and
3) America was founded upon uniquely Christian concepts, principles, premises and assumptions. Our law-giving is modeled after Godâs law-giving to Israel. It is from the Bible - not another religious text - that America derived its ideas of human rights, private property, due process, etc. Knowing the 10 Commandments should be required in every school for the sheer fact that it is impossible to understand American history or Western civilization without them. That cannot be said of the tenets of Satanism, Islam, Buddhism, et al, which are entirely irrelevant to the foundation of our country.
Also, the display of the 10 Commandments compels no one to believe or worship anything.
Itâs amazing how many supposedly Christian conservatives have been duped by the moral relativism inherent in secular liberalism
None of the businesses I frequent have pride stuff out this year. Most of them did last year. One in particular had a whole rainbow apparel display - this year, nothing. Anyone else see the same thing?
