This is a Torsen type Limited Slip Differential jo torque ko sense karke differential ko lock karega. Unlike other differentials, this one doesn't use bevel gears. Isme worms gears aur spur gears ko use kiya jata hai to split the torque intelligently.๐ง When one wheel starts slipping, the spur gear will transmit the torque to the other worm gear and thus to the other wheel with better traction. No electronics, no delays, just pure mechanical brilliance. Last week mein GT ki battery drain hogai thi, I realised this because it struggled to crank. Thoda chalane ke baad mujhe pata chala headlight aur tail light nahi chal rahe the. So i decided to check its fuse. By performing continuity test on the fuse i came to know that it was blown. So i replaced it with the spare fuse provided in the fuse box and the headlight and taillight started working.
Lekin ab fuse blow hua matlab 10A se zyada ka current flow hua tha circuit mese... this would happen if theres any short circuit or the any wire got grounded. So headlight aur taillights ki wires check karne pe i found a worn out wire on the tail light end. Usse resolve kar diya now I hope the new fuse works for a long time!
Tumare bike yaa car ke saath esa kuch ho to pehle fuse check karne lena!

Cell Balancing is the process of maintaining the voltage of each cell in a battery pack.๐๐ It is important for the good life span of each cell. This can be achieved with either Passive cell balancing or Active cell balancing. Active cell balancing is preferred for the battery packs of Electric Vehicles. ๐ Watch the video on Cell Balancing by scanning the QR code provided in the book Electric Vehicles In A Nutshell.

Kal Xpulse ko thodi der chalaneke baad I noticed oil stains on the ground and on the bash plate right underneath the front sprocket.๐ฐ
Iske saath chain mein se ek weird sound bhi aa raha tha from the front sprocket end. ๐ฅ
I opened the front sprocket cover and saw huge amount of gunk. Chain, sprocket aur sprocket cover ko thoroughly clean kiya. After this there was no weird clicking sound from chain and no more oil stains. ๐
Yeh saab karne ke baad meri nazar engine ke block pe padi. Woh thoda zyada hi saaf tha. Thats a sign of oil leak.๐๐(There was some residual oil on it too)
Meine turant oil ka level check kiya and it was not low. Definitely there is an issue with the head gasket. Agar yeh oil leak badha to turant gasket replace kar lenge, filhal keliye it isnt much of an issue...
Btw am not complaining about the bike or anything. Mein bas isiliye share kar raha hu because its our duty as an automobile engineer to identify a noise or a vibration. Ab uss noise yaa vibration ko khudse solve karna hai ya mechanic ke pass le jana hai that depends on our experience. ๐

With Turbochargers comes Turbo Lag. One way to deal with this turbo lag is by using another turbocharger, specifically a smaller one. With such an arrangement, the smaller turbocharger will spool up easily at low engine speed because it will require less kinetic energy and then as the engine speed rises, the exhaust gases will be fed to the larger turbocharger, providing optimum compressed air at high engine rpm. This way the turbo lag at low engine speed can be overcome. There are various configurations of connecting two turbochargers or Twin Turbocharging to achieve this. One such way is shown here: The Sequential Turbocharging. Learn more about Twin Turbocharging and discover the power behind modern engines with the second edition of Engine In The Nutshell. When Ola showcased their Gen 3 platform,๐ต I was eager to see their motor design. When they mentioned that they would use no permanent magnets in the motor, my eyes focused on the rotor design.๐ Based on the design of the rotor of Ola's Gen 3 motor it was easy to identify that they will use Switched Reluctance Motor in their Gen 3 platform. Now, Switched Reluctance Motor has its pros and cons, which you can learn from Electric Vehicles In A Nutshell and step into the future of automotive engineering. ๐ชClick here to supercharge your knowledge about electric vehicles: amzn.to/3YH22db
