Birthday trips over the years! ✨️
If you've been following me, you'd know that every year since 2020, on my birthday, I treat myself to a solo trip. And, while planning this year's trip, I couldn't help but feel a huge sense of gratitude to have the ability to do that.
When I first travelled solo on my birthday, I was just 'exploring' how it felt to not be near friends and family on the day I was born, I kind of wanted to detach myself from this idea of importance we expect others to give us. Little did I know that it would turn into this beautiful travel ritual. 🤩
I'm not a huge sucker for celebrating my birthday, but anything that gives me an excuse to travel, I'll take it! 🧳 I guess I've now started seeing the day I was born as a reminder to live my life to the fullest. :)
