LOCAL DJ CONTINUES TO BREAK BARRIERS
DJ Lehara is Carl Noone Jr., a retired cook and freelance photographer and writer, and former Morning Call columnist. His musical influences range from The Hardkiss Brothers and Florida's Rabbit in the Moon to Van Halen and Metallica. But his biggest influences in life remain to be his two young boys Caleb and Gavin, and his appreciation of American illustrators and art history. In 2005, DJ Lehara became the first electronic dance music DJ ever invited to perform at Bethlehem's MUSIKFEST, opening for the late California phenom Dennis Barton, known to ravers as Skylab2000. Since then, Lehara has recorded over a hundred original compositions, some available on www.bandcamp.com. His 2017 release, âBass Drum Booty Buzzâ , is still available on most major streaming platforms, and over 30 DJ mixes are available on www.mixcloud.com.
