Planning your next adventure? We’ve done the legwork so you don’t have to. We created an interactive map featuring 280+ hand-picked backcountry campsites, hiking trails, hot springs, swimming holes, restaurants, coffee shops, and must-see points of interest—all places we’ve personally visited and loved over 9 years of full-time travel across North America.
⭐️ Get the map: tinyurl.com/2zwr8426
Each pin includes a photo, a personal description, and crucial info like road conditions, vehicle requirements, and accessibility. To make it easy to navigate, we’ve color-coded the map into 8 categories, including high-clearance-only sites and more accessible options.
Whether you're just hitting the road or deep into your nomadic journey, this map is a curated guide to the best spots we’ve found—from remote wild camping to hidden natural wonders.
This is not a one-time download—you’ll get lifetime access to our map and all future updates as we continue to travel and explore.
Each pin on the map is color coded into 8 different categories:
✅ Free backcountry campsites (4x4 and non-4x4 separated)
✅ Points of interest worth the detour
✅ Hot springs & swimming holes
✅ Hikes, views, and trailheads
✅ Coffee shops, restaurants & food stops we recommend
✅ National and State Parks
✅ Paid Campgrounds
During our time on the road we've gone from a van, to a shuttle bus, and now to a Unimog, so our vehicle capability has changed dramatically. To help you understand the accessibility of campsites, we've separated them into two different categories: High Clearance 4x4 ONLY and Non High-Clearance 4x4. That way you'll know what you're getting into!
We hope you love this resource!

Hello everyone! We want to discuss something very close to our hearts.
EVERY SINGLE ONE of our videos traveling in our Unimog takes place on public lands here in the United States. These public lands are under threat.
The largest single sale of national public land in modern history could be carried this week as a bill aimed at privatizing public lands and advancing energy dominance at the expense of public lands and resources enters the Senate. 238 million acres are on the chopping block to be sold off to oil, gas, logging, and mining companies to pay for tax breaks to billionaires. This sprawling piece of legislation, called "One Big, Beautiful Bill Act," passed the House of Representatives in early June and is currently under debate in the senate.
(Map Link: wilderness.maps.arcgis.com/ap...)
This includes places we love and go to year after year. Most of the places where we've filmed our videos could be inaccessible, sold off to the highest bidder.
We don't care what you think of this administration or who you support, our public lands are NOT FOR SALE. The harm from this will be felt for generations to come.
If you enjoy our videos, the places we go/camp, and the nature we are able to share with you, PLEASE oppose this bill! Contact your senators by phone and/or email daily!
71% of Americans support protecting our public lands. Congress works for us -- they need to hear from us!
You can use this link to write to your senators encouraging them to oppose these public land selloffs: action.outdooralliance.org/a/reconciliation-senate
or call Congress switchboard: (202) 224-3121 They will connect you to your Senator.

We wanted to check in this morning and let you know there won't be a new video tomorrow. That's because we've spent the last two weeks, sanding, cleaning, prepping, and painting the Unimog! That's left little time for editing 🙃
Black and white photos for a tease of what's to come!
We're hoping to release the next video mid week instead of waiting until next weekend. See you soon!
XOXO
