BOLD, EXPRESSIVE, and CREATIVE, are just a few words that describe the music of Ja’Van Johnson, a passionate voice lifting up the name of Jesus Christ. Ja’Van’s parents instilled strong Christian values in him while he was growing up, and around the age of 8 he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He knew at an early age that he wanted to pursue the things of God, and he maintained a relationship with Jesus throughout his childhood years into the present day. By the time Ja’Van was 16, he developed a strong desire to rap and make beats. He began to pursue this desire by composing his own rap songs, and learning how to play the keyboard, bringing to life the musical melodies that he heard in his head.
