About
Vorsen is the moniker of British-Norwegian producer/songwriter Oliver Halvorsen. His dreamy alt-pop is made up of tampered field recordings, vintage drums machines, and layered choir-esque vocals, which will resonate with fans of the likes of Dijon, Washed Out, and Alex G.
After relocating to the UK from Perth, Western Australia, Vorsen's first solo release "Say All the Right Things" landed in triple J's "5 Best Songs of the Week". It was subsequently hailed as "a great debut" and "so special" by the triple J team. 2023 marks the release of his sophomore EP "Looking Back", a new direction for the London-based artist.
