A new reissue of "Monk’s Music," a 1957 album by legendary jazz pianist Thelonious Monk and his Septet, is now available from Craft Recordings as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series. Reading like a who’s who of jazz the album features players including John Coltrane (tenor sax), Coleman Hawkins (tenor sax), Art Blakey (drums) and Ray Copeland (trumpet). The mono vinyl LP is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI with all-analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and presented in a Tip-On Jacket.
